BEST CHINESE FRIED RICE | CHINESE FOOD RECIPES
INGREDIENTS
3-4 cups finely chopped onions
2 tablespoons of oil
1 egg, slightly beaten (or more eggs, if you want)
3 drops of soy sauce
3 drops sesame oil
8 ounces of cooked lean boneless pork or 8 ounces of chopped chicken
1-2 cups finely chopped carrots (very small)
1-2 cups frozen peas, thawed
4 cups cold cooked rice with separated grains (preferably medium grain)
4 green chopped onions
Bean Sprouts 2 cups
2 tablespoons of light soy sauce (add more if you want)
DIRECTIONS
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok; add chopped onion and fry until the onion has a beautiful brown color, about 8-10 minutes; remove from wok.
- Let the wok cool slightly.
- Mix the egg with 3 drops of soy and 3 drops of sesame oil; set aside.
- Add 1/2 tbsp. Spoons of butter in a wok, swirling on the surface; add the egg mixture; while working quickly, beat the egg until the egg stands against the wok when puffing, turn the egg over and quickly cook the other side; remove from the wok and cut into small pieces.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok; add the selected meat to the wok, along with carrots, peas and cooked onions; fry for 2 minutes.
- Add rice, green onions and bean sprouts, mixing, so that they mix well; fry for 3 minutes.
- Add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce and chopped egg to the rice mixture and add; fry for another 1 minute; service.
- If desired, add extra soy sauce to the table.
